" Zip restores do not have any additional cost and are a great option for individual files or small sets of data. The Backblaze help site offers this tidbit (my emphasis): There's no prohibition on having 4-5TB, but I'm not surprised that the Personal app isn't really designed for what you're trying to do with it. While it is "unlimited", Backblaze has previously noted that the average user has less than 1TB of data. That product really isn't designed for the multi-TB crowd. Sounds like you're using Backblaze personal (unlimited). Without any knowledge of programming, python, etc - is there a better way to do this? Once the restores are ready to download, the BB downloader is very "dumb".I ended up needing to create 9 different restores, meaning I couldn't even puzzle out which files are in which restores in one go. There is an arbitrary limit to only processing 5 restores at a time. ![]() Every restore is limited to 500gb: some of my folders are larger than this, making it very challenging to even select the files to restore.I'm honestly shocked by how unnecessarily tedious it seems, for a lay user. Waiting for a hard drive shipment didn't seem like a great option and I have decent internet speeds, so I'm downloading the restore. ![]() I need to get it up and going pretty quickly, since it had a lot of video files on it I need for work. I've been using backblaze for years and this is the first time I've had to do a major restore. I had an external drive fail Sunday, with was backed up with Backblaze (thankfully). ![]()
